Russell Manser from Voice of a Survivor
Russell Manser spent 23 years in jail for crimes he committed but whist there he started to rebuild his life through helping many victims of institutional abuse.
Matt is joined in the Panic Room by Russell Manser and they discuss the road that led him to spending 23 years in jail. More importantly they discuss Russell's road to redemption and how he has helped over 11,000 victims of institutional abuse through his passion project Voice of a Survivor.
Russell spent 23 years in prisons for crimes he committed, known as the "Gentleman Bank Robber" he believed that good manner never cost a thing and that no one needed to get hurt. A victim of institutional abuse himself it was when he was just about at rock bottom that he wrote a letter to the Royal Commission into Institutional Abuse, that letter would change his life and many more.
